The difference between my first year of teaching without InterMuse and the years teaching with my certification from attending BYU InterMuse is stunning.
Enjoy a week of joyful singing this summer at the BYU InterMuse Choir Camp!

Place: BYU campus
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

What happens at the choir camp? Singers make new musical friends; improve their singing skills; sing in a variety of musical styles, cultures and traditions; and perform in a final celebration concert with the InterMuse adult Chamber Choir.
*Choir Camp students must be able to attend all rehearsals AND participate in the final concert.
**Because the music we are performing will be joyfully rigorous, students need to have completed at least one year of general Kodály music, or have participated in a school, or community children’s or youth choir.
Check in beginning at noon on Monday, June 17 on BYU Campus. Check-in to receive your packet and music. Walk-ons are welcome. Bring bottled water with you! Parents are responsible for getting their children to and from the choir camp classroom at pick-up and drop-off times.
Parents will be responsible to provide daily transportation to and from Choir Camp, including a rehearsal and evening concert on Friday, June 21.
Parking where there are red curbs is prohibited. Parking is not allowed in specialty stalls such as Official, Dean and Director, Nursery, Service, A lot, or department-issued stalls. Please check signs to ensure proper parking.

The BYU InterMuse Academy is a safe environment for children. All Choir Camp staff who work directly with children are carefully pre-screened (fingerprinted and background-checked) in addition to their professional teaching credentials. Although adult participants in the InterMuse certification classes may be observing Choir Camp rehearsals as part of their coursework, they will be doing so without any direct physical or verbal contact with the children.
